Let us tell you a bit about the AES story, and our journey as a company. Advanced Electronic Services, Inc. (AES) was launched as an industrial electronic repair facility (in a 10’x12’ backyard shed!) in Mount Airy, NC, by Steve & Leslie Cooke in March of 1992. Fast forward nearly 30 years later, and our original team of two has now grown to include upwards of 150 employees. It didn’t take long for us to outgrow our 120-square-foot shed, either; AES is now housed in a spacious 130,000+ square-foot facility! We’re thrilled to be able to serve customers around the globe through our careful repair and refurbishment of their industrial electronic, mechanical, and hydraulic equipment. We also offer OEM end-of-life support programs, vendor-managed inventory programs , and engineering services.
AES is not a “traditional” company, and we really have no interest in following in the traditions of others who may offer services that could be compared to ours. Naturally, we share some things in common with other industrial equipment repair organizations, like maintaining a focus on prompt, reliable repairs with competitive pricing.But AES is really about more than justthat as a company. As we continue to grow, we’re committed to maintaining that personal, small-town feel while also delivering an ever-expanding range of large-scale capabilities.
Quite a few things have changed since AES repaired our first electronic circuit boards back in 1992. We’ve grown and expanded our services beyond industrial electronics repair to now include industrial mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and motor repair services. In order to better serve our customers, we’ve also added equipment sales , vendor-managed inventory, and even on-site repair services. But while many things have changed with AES, some things haven’t: our commitment to our customers, employees and community; a healthy foundation of technical expertise and innovation; and the privilege to serve an incredibly diverse base of leading industries.
